Vocabulary
Instructor-only - stricter than Blog, which at least gives Members a read-only view. There's currently no member-facing glossary browser; a term is only ever seen indirectly, through a lesson's vocabulary block. Treat that as a known gap, not a missing doc.
Authoring
Reachable from the sidebar's Vocabulary section. A term can carry multiple labeled definitions (not just one) - useful for a word with distinct meanings in different contexts. AI assistance can draft a definition for you, the same drafting pattern used elsewhere in the product.
Referencing a term from a lesson
In the Course Builder Studio's block editor, a vocabulary block is added via a picker that searches existing terms and stores only a reference (a definition ID), never a copy of the text. This is a live reference, not a snapshot: if you edit a term's definition later, every lesson that references it immediately shows the updated text, with no re-save needed on the lesson side. Deleting a referenced term's definition is the corresponding footgun to be aware of when editing shared vocabulary that other instructors' lessons may depend on.
